A 10-day adventure where you learn how to live from the land

Join us on an unforgettable journey into the wild landscapes of Norway, where you’ll learn how to thrive in nature and reconnect with the land. Our expert guides will teach you how to identify and forage for wild foods, fish in Norway's pristine waters, and master fire-making techniques. You’ll learn to build your own shelter and acquire essential survival skills, empowering you to feel at home in the wilderness. Whether you're an adventurer at heart or just curious about self-sufficiency, this immersive experience will leave you feeling inspired, confident, and deeply connected to the natural world.


Learn how to live from the land. Forage plants and fish, make fire, find shelter just like our ancestors did!

All you need to know

  • A highly diverse program, all outdoors.

    We teach you how to live from the land, forage food (plants, mushrooms, fish…), how to make a fire and use it to cook tasty meals. We’ll also spend a lot of time learning multiple crafts, like constructing a shelter with only natural materials, wood carving and making your own bark baskets.

    A compact travel group: a good atmosphere and personal interaction. We limit each group to 14 participants. Minimum age for this trip is 18+.

    Disconnection: we request minimizing the use of smartphones to an absolute minimum.

  • Camping equipment (light tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag) + trekking backpack.

    Appropriate clothing: waterproof, warm, and good hiking shoes.

    Good physical condition: ability to walk 15 km with a backpack and no fear of heights and water.

    Included in the price:

    All meals and drinks from start to finish. All the equipment needed for the workshops. Shuttle service from train station Elverum, NO (reachable from airport Oslo Gardemoen).

    Two survival & bushcraft experts.

    Preparatory information session in Belgium in advance with the participants (also online).

  • DAY 1

    Fire skills, identify usable water, gather firewood, spoon carving

  • DAY 2

    Bark containers and intense foraging hike

  • DAY 3

    All day foraging and hiking, campfire and carving

  • DAY 4

    How to catch fish and turn fishskin into sustainable leather

  • DAY 5

    Early morning tracking and navigation, discover the surroundings

  • DAY 6

    Build a shelter, construct a sleeping mat. First aid in the forest

  • DAY 7

    Head solo into nature, find shelter and food on your own. Use your skills and spend the night alone.

  • DAY 8

    Continue to live on your own from the land, spend another night under the stars

  • DAY 9

    Return from the forest, discuss your experience, spend the final day together. Big campfire (of course)

  • DAY 10

    The adventure ends, going back home
