An exploratory journey through Scottish nature, suitable for both beginners and advanced participants.
6 days that combine sailing, working together, exploring all aspects of nature, foraging and enjoying the epic landscapes.
Culinary aspect: local and flavorful food, we work and cook together.
A very compact travel group: a good atmosphere and personal interaction. We limit each group to 6 participants, as we share a limited space on the boat. Minimum age for this trip is 18+.
Note that this is a trip that requires a lot of engagement from its participants. There’s always work: sailing tasks, keeping the ship tidy, cooking and so on. We work together as a sailing crew, under the guidance of our captain and additional foraging guide. Personal space onboard the yacht is less than we are used to on land, so participants should approach the trip with good team spirit and a willingness to embrace a sense of adventure!

Scottish waters
Nestled on Scotland's rugged west coast, Mallaig serves as a gateway to some of the country's most stunning natural landscapes. Surrounded by the dramatic peaks of the Knoydart Peninsula and the sparkling waters of the Sound of Sleat, this charming fishing village is steeped in wild beauty.
This trip is a collaboration with Sail Britain. A UK based company that inspires positive change for the ocean under sail. They work towards cultural exchange and ocean literacy through exploration and education on their expedition yacht, Merlin. We welcome people from all backgrounds to join our programme to explore our marine environment, culture and heritage, and highlight the beauty and importance of our ocean.
